My school doesn't have many sports, so I chose a unique sport,  polo, to cover in my spread. Throughout three spreads I used a theme of green and blue. I think the two colors work nicely together and don't overpower the pictures or writing. I chose the fonts American Typewriter and Century Gothic as my serif and sans serif fonts because I believe they work well together. I also think the fonts aren't too powerful, so they don't take away from the pictures.

This is the finished spread I created for our school’s marching band. I designed the template, took all the photographs, wrote the story, and collected caption information. Our book’s theme is "You Had To Be There," so the success of the band complements our choice in theme. On every spread we have what we call an "I Witness" where we take one individual student and get their story of what they witnessed.
