The Herald‘s normal design is more bulky. I designed the new flag because it is much more contemporary and streamlined, and I think the rotated text adds interest. Clean lines and a love of black and white contrast inspired this design. I used a simple serif to maintain the simplicity and clean lines. Altering the color of the text and background makes it more dynamic. The font is consistent throughout, but the attributes (bold, light, extralight) change, making the card more visually pleasing.
I designed this business card like this because I feel like this is a very professional business card and I think this will make me/my paper be taken more seriously and considered more legit.
